Félag Horizon arranged an event call "Fun Olympics 2014".
The competition constisted of different kinds of sport; Sack Race, Tug of War, Ball throwing, Egg on Spoon, Heavy weight throw, Penalty Taking, Long Jump, Tape Run; and the judges draw a winner for each single sports activities.
Félag Horizon's educational platform brought and organized Pangea Stærðfræði Keppni 2020. This tournament is held internationally with over 20 countries and 500.000 students participating in this tournament which has been arranged in Iceland for the first time in cooperation with Félag Horizon. Over 70 different Icelandic schools with 3712 Icelandic students took part in this math competition based on 8th and 9th-grade students. The top 45 of each grade took part in the finals after completing 2 other rounds.
We welcomed them to the finals of Wednesday 30 September 2020!

This tournament is held internationally with over 20 countries and 500.000 students participating in this tournament which has been arranged in Iceland for the first time in cooperation with Félag Horizon. Over 50 different Icelandic schools with 2763 Icelandic students took part in this math competition based on 8th and 9th grade students. The top 45 of each grade took part in the finals after completing 2 other rounds.

This tournament is held internationally with over 20 countries and 500.000 students participating in this tournament which has been arranged in Iceland for the first time in cooperation with Félag Horizon. Over 50 different Icelandic schools with more than 1000 Icelandic students took part in this math competition based on 8th and 9th grade students. The top 35 of each grade took part in the finals after completing 2 other rounds. The prices for the top 3 of each grades were a laptop, a tablet and a smartwatch. We are looking forward to arrange a even bigger tournament with Pangea the upcoming year.
